McDonald's Journal #5

So if you dont know i am a manager at McDonald's and yesterday when i went in to work my store manager came up to me with a smile on his face and held up a set of keys. Then i said what are these my keys. He gave me that same look with a smile and said yes. I was so excited because now i dont have to ask other managers for their keys so that i can get my job done. I have been looking forward to having my set of keys since I became a manager at the first of the year. This has been a long waiting privledge that i got yesterday. It was the best day ever actually being able to do my job properly with the correct tools.

Flying #4

My newly found friend Jim took me out on Sunday to go flying. his boss bear owns a plane and we flew out of the sugar grove airport and it was an awesome experience. It was a four passenger plane had green and gold stripes the pilot was a big kidder and he was like I should probably know how to fly this thing but i have a checklist so we'll be fine. He knew I was terrified so was trying to lighten the mood by joking with me so he was a awesome pilot the landing was rough but the take off was flawless. We flew over my new house which was cool but not exciting because we don't have any thing in the yard. then we flew over the Waubonsee campus and Jim's house which hes a farmer so that was a big yard. Overall I'm glad i went and had that new exciting experience.

Climbing

I have had a very new experiance and I am now all banged up my knees are all bruised. I also have some scrapes, but it was awesome I had fun and exercised. So I was glad to be out, most of the time I dont go out with friends not because i dont like to but because I never have anything to do so it was awesome to go out. We went to the lifetime fitness center in warrenville. I now know that i am a 5.7 climber which means I am pretty much beginner but good starting point. I will definitaly go again because its great and I was shocked how much pain I was in when I woke up my mucles definitaly feel good after a nights work. One of my friends are a talented climber.

The Fair

This weekend is the big sandwich fair and its a really big deal for our small town so I'm going to spend every free minute i have out there because its always the exact same every year and i will probably get bored but its the fair so its exciting. The good thing is that my grandparents always enter things and this year they decided to enter a picture of my cat midnight. He won a first place ribbon with the adorable picture i had him pose sitting in this small garbage can we have just gotten and he has this look on his face that just says why did you put me here? well if anyone is looking for a fun time i definitely suggest the fair there always something to do.

My Life

Well i have finally unpacked my room and i have some clothes to wear because i didnt really have much for about 3 days and it was hard for me to just sleep on the floor. i wasnt alone though my cat midnight seemed to be afraid of the new surroundings so he slept with me. i am finally glad to have a bed and my objects. now we have to paint the house and decorate to make our house more hommey. the tough situation is getting used to where we are and the new surroundings. especially driving patterns and knowing where we are so i can learn the fastest routes like i had with my house i was in for 15 years. there is so much work to be done!
